Walking around the area in the few days after my stint with this school I did bump into a couple of the children. One of them, a year 6 child, said ‘I remembered the meditation you showed us and I’m still doing it.’ This was hugely gratifying as this was one of the children who had not always found the classroom participation straightforward. This child was sitting their SATS at the time. I don’t know whether the meditation was helping. It’s an intriguing thought.
